NT Barra Classic
Our introduction to competition fishing was wild! Not even a stranded bus with a horn that went off every time the doors were closed dampened our spirits.
We worked with the Darwin Game Fishing Club and 59 teams of local and national anglers along 52km of the Daly River to host a successful tournament. We provided general event support to the Committee - setting up and bumping out at Banyan Farm, helping to pump fuel for the boats and assessing the teams' catches - was it a legal catch? Lots of camraderie and lots of fun.
