NT Barra Classic and Masters Classic
Our partnership with the Darwin Game Fishing Club to deliver the NT Barra Classic continued in 2024. The competition remains the premier fishing competition in Australia. We hosted 58 teams in the main competition and a newly created Masters competition as well as 81 junior anglers for the NT Junior Barra Classic. Congrats to team Tackle World who won the main competition and Bad Karma who took out the Masters tournament.
This year we had more input into the competition's look and feel (yes, the purple was our suggestion) while continuing to deliver other elements for the Club Committee, including transporting all of the event-specific furniture, products and prizes to Daly River from Darwin, ordering alcohol and liaising with the venue about meals and accommodation for all 190 anglers and committee members.
